The “Government wine for Tuscan use” is produced using a particular technique famous in the Chianti area.
This wine is obtained from a careful selection of Merlot grapes, that are subjected to drying on the vine, combined in steel tanks with Sangiovese wine. The wine obtained will continue in the winemaking process with the refinement.

Vinification
The Merlot grapes are subjected to drying on the vine, then joined in steel tanks of Sangiovese wine,
fermented for at least 40 days, for a second fermentation. The wine thus obtained will continue in
the winemaking process with the refinement.

Refinement
After the second fermentation, the wine ages in steel tanks for at least three months.

Tasting
Intense ruby ​​in color, it unleashes an elegant bouquet of ripe fruit and floral notes on the nose.
On the palate it is round, soft and structured, surprisingly harmonious.

It is ideal in the company of red meats, cheeses and first courses of Mediterranean cuisine
